Dr. Marcus P. Cook
Dr. Cook, a native of Charlotte, NC, joined Perry Orthopedics & Sports Medicine August 1, 2010. He is a sports medicine fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon having practiced in Charlotte for the last 5 years. He has expertise in arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the shoulder, knee and elbow with a specific interest in sports related injuries.
Education
After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of N.C. at Chapel Hill and his B.S. at Davidson College, he completed his graduate studies at Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, NC. He continued his intern and resident training at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana, and his sports medicine fellowship at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Cook has done extensive
research with a focus on the rotator cuff and anterior cruciate ligament.
