Physician Assistants (PAs) are licensed healthcare providers who work with physicians to care for patients.  PAs are an integral part of the health care team, enhancing patient care, and reducing health care costs.

PAs in North Carolina are licensed to practice medicine under physician supervision.  PAs evaluate, diagnose, and treat illnesses, provide preventive care, order, perform and interpret medical tests, assist in surgery, provide patient education, counseling, and more!  The title “PA-C” means “Physician Assistant-Certified.”  In North Carolina PAs must complete 100 hours of continuing medical education every two years and pass the national certifying exam every six year.

Scott B. Webster, PA-C is a graduate of the University of Colorado, Boulder with a BS in Kinesiology.  He completed his graduate PA studies at Cornell University Medical College in New York City.  Scott has over 11 years of orthopedic experience as a physician assistant.

He enjoys all sports and competes locally as an amateur triathlete.
